We originally introduced this wool blanket in the late 1970’s at the request of high-end department stores in the Northeast. The Melbourne was our first blanket to contain merino wool. The merino breed originated in Rambouillet, France where it was known as “the king’s sheep” for it’s soft hand. We’re proud to have developed a domestic source for super-premium merino wool. A thicker weight blanket, the Melbourne is ideal for northern climates. 100% fluff-loomed fine merino wool. Permanently moth-proofed. Dry clean only.
