Beautiful product, even better customer service
I'm very satisfied with the quality of this product, and have no doubt it will become a family heirloom for our recipient, but I really want to give a shout out to Faribault's customer service (especially these days, when customer service - particularly for online purchases - seems almost non-existent!)
My purchase of an Ashby throw was rather urgent as I needed a "best-quality available" woolen throw for a 96th birthday that was happening 3 days after I found Faribault online. AND I needed to have it shipped from MN to OH, and have it monogrammed with our logo, all within those 3 days!
My desperate, close-of-business-on a Tuesday email to Faribault's Customer Service department led to a phone call from Rachel within 20 min. of my e-mail. She answered all my questions, and made sure the throw was overnighted to me the next morning. I had it in hand in time for the monogramming to be done, and had it ready to be gifted on the recipient's 96th birthday, which was Friday of that same week. That 96-year young gentleman (recently released from a physical rehab facility to his own home/family) and his family were just delighted with the gift. But it couldn't have happened without Rachel's quick response and immediate action. I will be forever grateful to her for that....
And I've sent photos of the finished gift (i.e. with the monogram) to the fundraising staff at my university, suggesting they might want to consider this as an option when they need a "very special" gift, as I did when I worked with Rachel.
A million thanks for a great product (made in the USA, to boot!) and even greater customer service!
