Wow I bought the original Navy gray first and was pleased with that because of the memories it brought me of my Navy days. And the breathability of pure virgin wool ,but something made me want to get their best blanket because i was wondering if that merino wool was really softer. It sure is!! . This blanket doesn't disappoint. Its very soft and dense that a great wool blanket should be. I love the weight of it also. You cannot get hot in it, for those that think this blanket is only good enough for sleeping out in the snow. For a cold air conditioner it works great too. Not to hot not too cold its just the perfect blanket. I like it so much that i tear apart my bed apart to use it when i watch tv in my tv chair. Ive purchased other brands before, never again. Best quality!!! I will be buying another one soon just to have it. I love it that much!! perfect weight, my cats even like it and because its such a good insulator i dont even feel their heat when my cats are sitting on me. And i think they like it because their heat disappears when they are on the wool blanket. Ive been getting really good sleep with the heavy weight frontier blanket. I do wish it was colder sometimes so i can really put it to the test but i know it will be great.
