My wife loves it!

When I ordered my cream colored U. S. Navy blanket, my wife asked me to order a Military Shadow Plaid Wool blanket for her. She is extremely pleased with it and sleeps under it every night. She agrees with me that sleeping under a Faribault wool blanket guarantees a better nights sleep.

Very Happy with the Foot Soldier

Looking for 100% virgin wool, made in usa, I narrowed it down to the foot soldier line and two other brands. I chose the Faribault because i knew it would at least be as good as my wore out O.D. USGI green army blanket from the ancient past, and because the lady i talked to at customer service was so helpful with my questions and polite i had utmost confidence i was making a good choice. The thing is double the thickness of my well used army blanket, it is purrrfectly warm on cold nights and our cats like it too. The construction quality is top of the line.

My intent is to use the thing in traditional bush camp, with waxed canvas pack, oilskin tarp tent etc.... But it has also become a best friend in the house. WIll likely get one of the scout model next.
