This blanket seemed a little pricey for me at first. What if it was scratchy? What if it pilled? What if it was too warm or not warm enough? So many doubts. After one year of continual use I can say that it has exceed exceptions and was well worth it. No pilling. No shedding. It looks brand new. It is breathable for the cool San Francisco East Bay summers and is snuggy for winter. I add another Faribault throw on top when it's really cold. The color is a lovey heathered grey. I love it!
