Excellent throw with a few minor issues

We bought the Chicago city wool throw. It's very nice and very warm in the way that wool is warm--very warm when it needs to be and breathable when it needs to be. It reminds us of living in Chicago--I think I can even make out the intersection we lived at on this throw! The two issues I have are: the wool is not as soft as the other Faribault's I have and the throw is a bit too expensive for the less-soft wool. It's not to say that the wool isn't soft--but I have two herringbone throws that are definitely softer and about the same price point.

I still recommend the throw, especially if you're from Chicago. Faribault should look at other large, cool weather cities and make city throws for all of them--would make a great business model--I request a commission if this happens...

Softer than I imagined

I always think of wool as itchy. But this throw is so soft and comphy, it became the go to blanket when I or my husband get cold.
