North Star by Faribault Mill

Our revolutionary eco-line, blending natural and recycled fibers,
woven in America with the same quality you’ve trusted for 160 years.

The North Star Collection

At Faribault Mill, we’ve spent over 160 years crafting premium blankets and throws designed to last a lifetime. With our North Star collection, we’ve brought that same heirloom quality to a more accessible price point — while tackling one of today’s biggest challenges: textile waste. Each North Star blanket is woven in the USA from a thoughtful blend of recycled and virgin cotton, recycled polyester, and lambswool, creating eco-friendly bedding and accessories that don’t compromise on comfort, durability, or style. These feel-good fibers are chosen with you, your wallet, and the planet in mind — so you can wrap yourself in quality you can trust and sustainability you can feel.

Materials That Matter

Lambswool

The ultimate natural fiber, we thoughtfully included wool for its unmatched qualities of warmth and durability. Wool is a renewable resource with properties so incredible that science has long tried but failed to replicate.

Recycled Polyester

Our recycled polyester is created using a Global Recycled Standard (GRS)–certified process that begins with collecting and cleaning post-consumer PET bottles. The bottles are chopped into small flakes, melted down, and spun into renewed polyester fibers. This process gives new purpose to a product that would otherwise end up as waste — and when it becomes part of a North Star blanket, that waste is transformed into something made to last a lifetime.
