We bought one of these blankets for our own bed a couple of years ago. It still looks like new and is beautiful. I love that it is the only blanket I need for all seasons. Along with a comforter, it keeps us perfectly cozy in our Michigan winters, but is also light enough that it works for the summer too. So, I just bought another for the bed in our guest room.
