For me, any weight of down comforter is just too hot and I wake up sweating. For that reason, I love wool and this blanket is the just the right weight for us in winter. Keeps us warm and comfortable at night, and it doesn't trap heat and make me sweat. We got it in the off white color and it is very luxurious looking. I also love that it is washable and did not shrink.

Just what I needed- a warm but not too heavy layer for winter sleeping. Unlike a down comforter, this breathes and keeps my body temperature just right. Beautifully made and fine quality blanket- I love it.
The Cabin blanket was in a hotel room we stayed in San Francisco this fall. My husband loved it so I bought him the Cabin Throw for Christmas. His favorite gift by far. It is incredibly warm but not scratchy in the least. He loves it!

The Monhegan Cotton throw has become my favorite blanket. I use it as a comfortable blanket while watching TV, but easily could use it for sleeping. It's extremely soft to the touch and has just the right amount of weight. It's very breathable. The size is perfect, big enough to be completely covered, yet not too large like a bed blanket.
This throw blanket exceeds my expectations. I am a blanket collector, and admittedly quite fussy. This blanket is big enough to cover 2 laps, is warm without being heavy, and soft instead of harsh. I am so glad I bought 2, it makes our family room look great and adds the color I wanted. Thank you, Faribault Mill folks, you have a winner here!
Like all the Fairbault mill products, this does not disappoint! Perfect weight for year round use instead of a comforter. It's high quality and beautiful. Does not shrink with washing, generously sized to accommodate thick mattresses.
