Dan Smith: Dye Maestro
Colors come, and colors go. And Dan’s had a hand in making every one of them for over 35 years. As Faribault’s master dye man, he’s completely attuned to the nuances of hue. With his massive, messy palette, Dan finesses each batch to reveal its beautiful best, adding his colorful signature to every item that leaves the line.

Jenny Jones: Weave Shop Wunderkind
At just nine years in, Jenny’s the baby of the bunch. A baby with an eagle eye. Nothing gets past her. As Jenny ties warps in and out of the looms for new runs, she’s also meticulously checking the designs back to their source sketches. Color? Check. Placement? Check. Texture? Check. She’s QC to the nth degree and we wouldn’t want it any other way. (Neither would you.)

Debby Nelson: Sewing Supervisor
Starting as a weaver more than four decades ago, Debby has been bringing her precise eye and artist's touch to Faribault products ever since. From weft to warp, to spools and spindles, Debby knows every aspect of crafting fine wool blankets and throws by heart (her favorite is the Revival).

Barbara Duhme: Warper
To say Barbara is precise is an understatement. As our looms whir and churn, Barbara's the one feeding fiber to the big machines. Everything has to go in just right. One misplaced yarn and the whole run's a bust. Pressure? Yes. But after almost 20 years, Barbara makes it look easy. And makes our woolens look amazing!

Mary Boudreau: Mill Matriarch
Mary's artisanship and dedication to Faribault is the stuff of legends. For more than 60 years, she's been the spark that keeps our weave shop going strong and our products on point. From training new weavers to troubleshooting textiles as they leave the line, Mary's done it all. And seen it all. Let's just say she's got stories to tell.
