Adirondack Cotton Throw

I'm 6'2", and this throw is a great length for those of us on the taller side. I have a heavier knit afghan, and a very light weight cotton throw, and the medium weight of this throw has been perfect for days with a breeze through the windows/on the deck this spring with its in-between temperatures.

On top of the utilitarian bits, it's beautiful, and even hanging on the blanket rack when not being used, it's a piece of art in the room.

When I was a youngeran, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to craftsmanship, or looks of things like blankets or throws (or know the difference for that matter), but in time I've learned to appreciate such things and seek them out. This is the second purchase I've made from Faribault (the first being a wool bed blanket my cat loves as much as I do), and I'll be continuing to return.

If budgets are tight, look for sales, but even at full price their products are "do it right once and be done with it", so to speak, and honestly more than fairly priced for what you'll be receiving, it is definitely an investment in you and your home for years to come. I don't often do reviews, but I'm a huge fan of the value and artisanship in a world gone mad for "here today, gone tomorrow," quick and cheap. You will not be disappointed.

Nice and heavy

I really love the weight and feel of this aghan! It looks perfect in our living room. The traditional pattern and tassels have a charm that says that this is a place to relax.
