Lakefront Wool Blanket - Heritage Beige

Our third Lakefront blanket. Very soft. A great alternative to the Frontier blanket if you want something lighter. We use it on top of an all-cotton flannel blanket and it keeps us warm and comfortable during winter in SD.

The blanket is thinner than I expected, but still plenty warm enough and perfect for layering during PNW winter.

I’ve had the Lakefront blanket for a year and I love it. The quality seems great. It’s soft and not itchy. I use it over cotton jersey or percale sheets in the spring, summer and fall. Because it’s both warm and breathable it’s comfortable through a wide range of temperatures. On cooler nights I throw an 80-year-old Hudson’s Bay blanket on top of the Lakefront. Since I sleep cold, and live in Wisconsin, I take the Lakefront off the bed for the winter and switch to flannel sheets and a down comforter than might be way too warm for some people. My only criticism of the Lakefront is minor: the natural color I bought that looks like very light gray on the website is actually pale green (do sheep come in green?). It’s a pleasant color, though, and goes well in my bedroom.

I am using it on my bed and it keeps me very warm at night. It is wonderful.
