We have been crafting high-quality woolens at our mill in Faribault, MN for over 150 years. We had a very light blanket for summer but we were looking for a good blanket for winter. We turn the heat down at night to about 62. So we wanted a “traditional” wool blanket with satin edges. We found exactly what we were looking for at Faribault Mill and at a very reasonable price. I also noticed that the king is several inches longer than other brands. This is valuable for tugging it in. So we are very happy.

I’ve always wanted a Faribault wool blanket and when I saw the heritage sale at 40% off, I jumped at the chance to buy one. It’s everything I’ve always wanted in a wool blanket, warm, washable, and natural fiber. I am trying to get away from acrylic and plastic microfiber bedding, so this will be perfect to keep us warm all winter.
