Introducing the Faribault Mill Zero Waste Wool Blanket: A Testament to Sustainability.

For over a century, Faribault Mill has been making high quality wool blankets. Sometimes when we discontinue a pattern or yarn color we have yarn leftover. Unfortunately in many cases the quantity of each yarn is not high enough to make a new production run of blankets in the original pattern/style it was intended for. When that happens we find a purpose for these end of life yarns in our Zero Waste Blanket, and make it available for consumers at a great price. It is twin size, and made from high quality wool. You can choose between a Gray or Olive blanket, but the whipstitch color will be a surprise and is selected at random.

Why Are We Lowering Prices?

Our recent growth, combined with generations of experience, investments into new and upgraded equipment, and our singular focus on Made in USA manufacturing, have made it possible for us to cut the costs on our iconic products. And instead of pocketing the difference, we’re passing those savings on to you, because comfort shouldn’t cost more in times like these.

So, rather than raising prices with everyone else, we’re bringing them down; not as a promotion, but as a promise to all of our loyal customers to provide the world’s best blankets at the best price we can offer.

Wow! This was my first purchase from Faribault Mill. We have other wool blankets with the multi colored stripes and are happy with them but there is something about this one that makes me want more. The weave seems tighter and the weight is different. I’m not sure if it’s because of the yarn or weave. The feel is nice too. It’s like it wants to be scratchy but it’s really not. I think all twin sizes are the same size but this blanket seems big which I like. I’m disappointed in the whip stitch color but that’s ok because it said that color would be a surprise. I would have liked the red like in the picture. I’m definitely going to purchase more wool blankets from this company and maybe next time we are in MN stop by for a tour of the mill.

These are really nice!! I received a green blanket with pink trim on one side and purple on the other. That was pretty cool. And the gray blanket I got the turquoise. I couldn't believe it. Thank you again.

I have 4 of these

I have four of these now, and one queen sized frontier wool blanket. I love all five. Thank you for making a great product. I think the green one is softer and the gray one looks better. So get both. :)
